My trail to today has been a result of my experiences with cannabis aiding my various health problems over the years. This plant helps me manage high blood pressure, regulate my blood sugar, and reduce anxiety and pain, to name a few ways cannabis has improved my life. In 2008 I had a heart problem that was also accompanied by a lot of pain. I ended up heading down the trail of opioid addiction when I decided to ask my DO to change out my Vicoden for a medical cannabis card. By 2009 I was already trying to grow some plants but the seeds I had were not of reliable, high-quality genetics. I even ordered some from the Amsterdam seed banks thinking I would get legit seeds, but did not. At the time I was able to purchase pretty good, but very expensive, bud from dispensaries in order to medicate. I could not really afford that. One day I was at the pot shop and spotted a tin with seeds for sale from a Colorado based company. I bought the seeds and took them home. Upon trying to sprout them I had problems and ended up with only one plant. Being a new grower I decided to contact the seed company where I was received by a friendly man. He not only replaced the seeds I failed with but helped guide me on my way to becoming a better gardener. Also this person had been to the places like Afghanistan, India, Jamaica, Hawaii, and other worldwide destinations to find the true land race genetics. That person later went on to develop industrial hemp at which time he entrusted some of his seeds to me. I began projects to increase the population of these rare old school genetics for our future enjoyment.
